The 1st International Congress on Science and Technology in Fencing which took place from 15 to 17 February at INEFC in Barcelona has finished with a great success. With the presence of 362 participants from 25 different countries, the quality and variety of the papers presented has generated a high level of satisfaction. The Congress which coincided with the World Cup competition for Ladies Epee "Ciutat de Barcelona" has increased the transmission of scientific and technical knowledge in fencing for coaches, managers, fencers and researchers alike.
